Fuck what, you ask? Fuck the rules! More specifically, fuck having to have nice clean lineart.
I am reverting to neater versions of scribbles.
I can't be the only one who vastly prefers my sketches to my lineart? Lineart feels forced to me, while sketches feel free and flowing. I don't like it. Why should art have to be forced within a set of regulations when the whole purpose of it is your own expression?
Answer: it doesn't. Just because something is 'the way it's done', it doesn't mean you should follow it. Pave your own road and all that.
Besides, nice clean lineart is not always 'how it's done'. I've been allowing the rules and regulations of groups on dA that I don't even care about that much to dictate my art, and no more.
Lol I'm talking as if this is a big deal. It's not really, just one little scatterbrain changing up their art style. But yeah, it makes drawing a lot more fun for me so... whoo!
If you really dislike unclean lines, feel free to unfollow, I won't be offended haha.
As an aside, the adoptables are kind of slowed down. They're not as urgent anymore, but I'll still be making them from time to time.
